In just a few short hours our youth and adults will scatter across the Martin community to begin serving. We'll be painting houses and running a Kid's Club for local young people from the reservation. There will be lots of stories coming in the next few days (**we hope ... the wi-fi here is sketchy at best!**)
Last night we spent time building a little community of our own. We realized that the 23 youth on our trip attend 13 different schools (and four different churches ... not just Zumbro). One of our goals is to build a strong sense of team amongst ourselves so we can better reach out together. It was fun to learn new things about one another ... and if you want to know any random trivia about Wall Drug, ask Christian J. He's an expert. : )
